BORNEO....
Weather...
The mere mention of the name conjures up an image of mystery and intrigue. A magnet for adventurers, explorers, writers, and naturalists, Borneo has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the world’s last undiscovered frontiers.
As with any destination, the guides are the difference. Your guides have been chosen for their knowledge of the local culture and history, the natural environment, and the rainforest and its wildlife. They will be with you the entire time to answer questions, explain the secrets of the jungle, spot animals in underbrush, birds in the trees, and spin tales of local folklore and customs. It is this type of attention and enthusiasm coupled with our 20 years of experience and commitment in Borneo that will make your adventure truly unforgettable.
We offer a full range of vacation packages that we think you will enjoy. We have personally experienced each package and have an extraordinary amount of information and insight to offer you and your family or group. When you take a trip halfway around the world, you want to be sure you get nothing but the best!
Tropical with warm temperatures, varying little annually. Rainfall can be expected along with quick downpours.

Location...
Borneo is the third largest island in the world and is located at the centre Southeast Asia. Administratively, this island is divided between Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. Indonesia's region of Borneo is called "Kalimantan" , while Malaysia's region of Borneo is called East Malaysia or Malaysian Borneo. The independent nation of Brunei occupies the remainder of the island.

Language...
Bahasa Malaysia is the official language. English is spoken in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and major tourist areas.

Culture & Customs...
Malaysians are charming and friendly. Pointing a finger at a person is considered very rude. Most temples and mosques have a donation box to maintain the building; contributing a few coins before leaving is customary. Tipping is not common in Malaysia, especially in more rural areas. A simple 'Terima Kasih' (thank you) and a smile will do.
